12:45 The Samantha Black Spring|Summer 2023 Collection takes us to the beginning for the Brands designer, where it all started, The Bronx, N.Y Specifically at 12:45 Virginia Ave, the family home. In the Parkchester area of The Bronx, a melting pot of Jamaicans, Puerto Ricans and Dominicans, off the 6 train and the “circle” where everyone came to be Americans and help to mold what we call New Yorkers! A mashup of all the flavors that molded her childhood, transformed into a modern city aesthetic.
