Samantha Darryanto

Samantha Darryanto is a trader who moonlights as an independent, self-taught fashion designer. She started her brand while at MIT, first starting with altering clothing from thrift stores, but then moving on to create her pieces from scratch. As time passed, so did her eventual identity of her brand. Samantha's focus is on bringing pride and awareness to the asian cultures and communities she draws inspiration from, with many of the pieces being a fusion or modernization of traditional asian clothing. Her brand's purpose is to create fashion with meaning- to create pieces that communicate messages to others and go beyond a piece of clothing.
